Teaching mements happen all the time in a community dedicated to the K-8 educational model.

Enrollment in The Room Nine Community School is open to all K-8 grade students in the Shoreline School District.

We are located at on the Meridian Park campus at, 17077 Meridian Ave. N. in Shoreline. Bus transportation is provided to all students who live at least one half mile from the school.

Enrollment in the Room Nine Community School is decided by a lottery system. The lottery occurs every year in the spring, and is taken, by grade level, from a pool of registered applicants. The lottery draws from all available grade levels. When there are more lottery participants than spaces, a wait list is created for each grade level. Places are filled if openings become available.

The Room Nine Community School is a choice for all Shoreline families. To explore whether this school might be a good fit for your family, please read about our history and our mission.
