K-8 schools differ from traditional elementary and middle schools in several important way. In creating the Room Nine Community School, our teachers, staff and parents relied on many sources to help the community create a model which functions well.

Research in this educational model is ongoing and we grow and adapt with the internal and external needs of the community, always keeping in mind what is best for our children.
